Responsibilities may include Platform-as-a-Service and Cloud solution with a focus on data stores and associated eco systems. Duties may include management of design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, ensuring strict data quality, and performing needs assessments. Analyzes current business practices, processes and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging data storage and retrieval system capabilities. Manages relationships with software and hardware vendors to understand the potential architectural impact of different vendor strategies and data acquisition. May design schemas, write SQL or other data markup scripting and helps to support development of Analytics and Applications that build on top of data. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Responsibilities: • Build database systems of high availability, configuration, concepts, techniques and quality depending on each end users specialized role. • Software installation and Maintenance including Build SQL server setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools. • Should have good knowledge on new features like (Column store indexes, In-Memory setup, Polybase, Query store setup, Resource Pool setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools. • Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling. • PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills. • Master Data Services setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools. • Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity. • Index rebuild setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools. Must have : • Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards. • Having experience on SQL 2012 6+ years (min), Including all versions for SQL server, till the latest version. • Data Quality services configuration, concepts, techniques and tools. • SQL server File stream configuration, concepts, techniques and tools. • Should have proficient knowledge on integrations services native, catalog configuration and reporting services (Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS) Nice to have: • SQL server Machine learning services integrated the R programming language setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
