Submission Deadline: 2/12/2020 2:00 PM CST Start Date: 3/13/2020 End Date: 3/12/2021 Client: DPS BCA Description: Request for a Quality Assurance Analyst Resource – Staff Augmentation The following are the tasks and qualifications for the Citation Rewrite QA Analyst Tasks • Participate in formal review of business/functional requirements and application design • Prepare a Test Plan • Determine the types of testing that will be implemented • Design and document test cases • Identify and communicate test requirements • Identify and prepare test data • Execute test cases • Analyze, report, help troubleshoot and resolve test failures • Report overall test status and results • Report and log defects found as a result of the test execution • Perform other testing tasks as may be required by the project • Provide knowledge transfer Minimum Qualifications Required Skills • Five (5) years experience in a Quality Assurance Analyst role creating and executing manual test scripts for IT projects. • Five (5) years experience analyzing and reporting overall test status and results. • Five (5) years experience in each using defect identification and triage. • Three (3) years experience in SQL database query. • Two (2) years experience in Web services testing with SoapUI using REST • Two (2) years experience in Web services testing with SoapUI using SOAP APIs. Desired Skills • Experience in the Agile SDLC • Experience creating quality assurance relevant documentation. • Experience in formal review of business/functional requirements and application design. • Experience in establishing test entrance and exit criteria. • Experience defining regression tests for future projects. • Experience testing in an agile development environment. • Experience with program languages and software development technologies such as, JAVA, .NET, and SQL. • Knowledge of open source testing tools. • Experience performing, and working knowledge of, Business Analysis and Project Management activities. • Experience in automating and executing tests using Selenium/C# • Experience working with Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice Systems. • Ability to anticipate problems and demonstrate problem-solving skills. • Proven ability to collaborate, work effectively as part of a team.
