They will collaborate with a fully dedicated agile team to improve the performance of this system across the Enterprise Contact Center. This role will partner closely with Business Analysts, Developers, QAs, and User Experience professionals to identify, prioritize and execute work to drive meaningful outcomes for our customers, channel partners, and contact center. We are looking for an experienced, motivated Data Scientist who can understand and articulate how Data Science can inform and transform an IVR system. They will need to help define key metrics, find the data to baseline them, and dig into the data to better understand how to impact those metrics. This Data Scientist needs to be able to speak up, be persuasive, and provide some thought leadership on how data can be used to better inform this part of our business. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain robust measurement for Securians IVR system, could include creating and maintaining dashboard(s) for a broad group of stakeholders. Articulate to diverse agile team how data can and should impact what work gets prioritized. Perform ad-hoc analysis on relevant call center and CRM data. Perform advanced analytics/predictive modeling/ AB testing as necessary. Communicate complex analytical ideas/methodologies to broad audience, the ability to apply data science and prioritize the work necessary is directly dependent on how well we can articulate the value it provides. Ability to confidently present results/findings to stakeholders across the organization. Collaborate with dedicated, cross-functional agile team to identify relevant data sources necessary to complete your work. Collaborate with dedicated, cross-functional agile team to optimize the performance of our IVR through the agile framework(2 week sprints). JOB SPECIFICATIONS 3-5 years of work experience in analytics/data science. Degree in field such as statistics, mathematics, data science or equivalent work experience. Strong knowledge of analytics tools (e.g. R, SAS, Tableau, SQL, Excel, etc.) Strong ability manipulating diverse datasets (extraction, cleansing, joining, etc.) Experience integrating multiple data sources to develop cross-channel insights. Strong communication skills to educate business users on analytics concepts and techniques. Ability to quickly learn and effectively work in a variety of subject matter. Strong organization, prioritization, and project coordination skills to work across multiple initiatives simultaneously. Experience with Big Data systems a plus (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Pig, etc.) Experience supporting a contact center or IVR a plus. Experience working in an Agile environment a plus.
