Architect (Jobs in KANSAS CITY, MO)   Requirement id 43435 Job title Architect Job location in Kansas City, MO Skills required Business Case Development, Data Center Infrastructure, Solution Architect, Open Date 20-Feb-2015 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 6 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Architect: Business Case Development, Data Center Infrastructure, Solution Architect, The consultant will have an architectural understanding of a data center environment and experience with the following: • Provide data center infrastructure advisory services within multiple teams and projects with regard to: o Development and/or testing environments to support production o Test and/or development environment build out (requirements, procedures, deployment) o Analyze activities within the multiple projects that are applicable to all the projects (i.e. server requests, production environment requests, firewalls). o Understanding of firewalls within server/data center environment (Linux, Windows & Unix) • Responsibilities: Encompasses multiple disciplines, including technology architects, solution architects, and enterprise architects. • Architects: Are responsible for delivering business value to customers by architecting effective information systems solutions that address the customers business problems, needs and opportunities, in a manner consistent with clients strategic and business goals. • Have knowledge of architectural frameworks, methodologies, and tools and understand how to apply this knowledge to successfully deliver customer projects. • Establish and maintain a professional working relationship at multiple levels both internally and with the customer by understanding the customers business context and their unique situation • Collaborate with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs in order to facilitate the definition and development of the solution. • Strong supporters of the professional development framework for their profession and use the knowledge and best practice derived from their professional associations to the benefit of their customers. • Collaborate with project managers to ensure effective and efficient development, delivery, deployment, operation and support of these IS solutions. • Collaborate with the account team to meet or exceed revenue, product, customer satisfaction and market share goals for assigned account(s). • Expert: Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a business matter expert. • Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. • Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires and in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. • Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. • Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
