Profiling the data source with a view to ensuring accuracy and completeness. Partnering with developers to ensure a successful implementation of the logical data model. Supporting the reporting team in exposing the data via BI tools. Identifying and documenting existing data quality issues like key duplication and inconsistencies and partner with the operations team and or source systems to remediate. Participating in the evolution of our data strategy in areas such as Data Integration, Architecture, Data Quality and Master Data Management. Qualifications: 7 years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design. Advanced database design and SQL syntax knowledge. Can write SQL fluently against source and integrated databases to compare and contrast data, profile keys and values, test for omissions and duplication and find issues. Strong research, precision, and critical thinking. Able to trace issues back to root causes. Strong data interpretation. Should be able to visualize the business process by looking at the data, and vice versa Strong dependability in doing independent, multi-tasked work. Should self-start and complete projects without close supervision. Strong verbal communication. Has the skill to foster and manage relationships and gain commitment to accomplish business goals. Moderate written communication. Should be able to digest documentation and present findings clearly Moderate process analysis/modeling. Should be able to read and create a process flowchart, and to identify value-added process steps. Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server Databases and any of Teradata, Oracle, DB2, MySQL etc. Hands On MS Master Data Services, MS Data Quality, MS Reporting Services, Sql Server Integration Services, Sql Server Analysis Services, Team Foundation Server.
