This senior developer candidate will provide technical leadership expertise as part of the Home Office team focusing on the systems, applications, and automation needs of Wells Fargo Advisors. They will provide technical expertise to teams and mentor staff. Candidate will be responsible for development and support of large, complex, technical components of multiple applications. In addition, the candidate will work with other Brokerage technology application teams, the Brokerage Technology Architecture team, and the Brokerage Database Management team. Will work closely with other development leads and managers to recommend and influence the adoption of standards, best practices and consistent, repeatable solutions that can be leveraged by the entire Brokerage technology team. Senior developer on larger technology work units or a number of smaller, specialized work units with some impacts to organization-wide objectives. Works on complex problems with advanced systems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of a variety of factors. • Experience in application production support tasks, application enhancements and large project effort for batch applications as well as batch processing components for compliance application. • Identify tasks and work effort estimates and provide to tech oversight. • Experience in research of software defects, trouble-shooting, and defining solutions for defects. • Strong experience in design, develop and debug batch applications. • Experience in full project life-cycle phases and follow established development guidelines and best practices to . maintain project deliverables • Participate in design; update and development of design documentation as needed. • Strong written and verbal communications skills • Conduct design walkthroughs, code walkthroughs as required • Provide application teams with ongoing assessment of risk and escalate issues as appropriate - 5 years of development experience in DB2 SQL. - Relational database development and support with Oracle and DB2. - Experience writing Unix scripts. - Strong methodology and design background. - Strong organization skills and ability to clearly communicate complex issues in terms business partners can understand. - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
