This unique individual will work on a team tasked with creating highly interactive Microsoft MVC web applications designed to improve the development and marketing of medicines. Due to the complexities of the application, we can only accept individuals with 10+ years of demonstrated Microsoft MVC web development experience for this position. Qualifications BA/BS degree preferably in Computer Science/Engineering. C# programming experience with a commanding knowledge of generics, object oriented principals, multithreading, lambda expressions , anonymous types, extension methods and asynchronous methods Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical business stakeholders Demonstrated ability to work directly with non technical team members including: Project Manager, Business Analysis and Product owner to design web solutions Demonstrated ability to work directly with technical team members including: System Engineers, Database Engineers and Quality Assurance Ability to conduct web solution design sessions, document architecture and work with team members to create a feature backlog Strong understanding of application/server architectures and how to tune them for performance Microsoft MVC 4 and a working knowledge of controllers, creating views using the Razor view engine, model design, custom routes and route constraints Experience using JQuery, Ember.js, Angular.js or KnockoutJS Experience using HTML, XML, JSON, CSS and advanced design techniques using CSS frameworks like Foundation Experience implementing application server caching schemes using ASP.NET caching or Memcached to persist application data a plus but not mandatory Experience creating traditional web services using ASP.NET or restful web services using ASP.NET MVC Experience using Microsoft Entity Framework Experience using Microsoft SQL server including creating stored procedure, views and an understanding of table design. Experience performance tuning Microsoft SQL in the context of application development a plus. Experience creating unit tests using Visual Studio or other 3rd party unit testing frameworks Experience documenting features, working with quality assurance team to create test documents and procedures and supporting applications as they move from testing to production Experience working in an agile environment defining/scoping/estimating deliverables, converting business level story boards into features and communicating project status and risk assessments to team leads   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
