The Client is seeking a short term (approx. 6 month) contractor. This position is responsible to lead functional and detailed requirement development, code development, Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, functional and detailed design, business and workflow process modelling and business re engineering. This position is also responsible for developing the detailed project plan, work breakdown structures, project checklists, staffing plan & budgets to meet established timeframes. The position will coordinate project activities for adherence to project plan & goals; monitor results against established timelines, deliverables, tasks, dependencies & associated technical specifications; prepare comprehensive supporting plans in the areas of quality control, risk management, change management, testing & other associated project management areas; manage project development process to include monitoring project scope & change control processes; perform work in association with industry recognized standards, guidelines & practices; and responsible for adhering to established policy and procedures with respect to project management methodology, quality assurance & other related standards. This position will provide the project status reporting to the state & local stakeholders and management as required. Required Skills: * Minimum of (5) Five years of experience in Applications Development and Database design with Visual FoxPro * In-depth knowledge and understanding of Web Service standards (SOAP, UDDI, and WSDL), graphical UI development experience, network operating system s * Advanced technical skills and significant experience in enhancing client/server and web sites using programming techniques and languages * Experience with applying C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio .NET, ASP, Visual Studio v6.0 and above, VB, SQL, ODBC/OLE DB * Experience with data access to MS SQL Server, Visual FoxPro tables, ACCESS databases etc., * Experience using web-related technologies (including XML, HTML, CSS, VBScript, JavaScript, IIS) * Minimum of (5) five years of experience in n-tier client/server systems * Contractor should be able to join before the end of August 2015 Desired Skills: * Extremely strong in analyzing Visual FoxPro applications and develop the requirements for the uplift * Ability to plan and estimate a technology uplift project * Minimum of (5) Five years of experience in handling IT Project Management activities * Thorough knowledge of the principles of application systems development and its associated lifecycle * Ability to work independently and in a team setting to meet tight deadlines * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience in the field of accounting * Knowledge and experience in Subversion   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
