The fiscal accountability and management of NCDOTs diverse activities is extremely complex and requires a robust business system that will provide meaningful, accurate, and timely information for the various needs of public/private end users, the Federal and State government and departmental and administrative requirements. Required Skills: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements Required: • 5 or more years of experience as an AIX 6.x, 7.x Administrator • 5 or more years of experience running AIX on p-series midrange to enterprise hardware • 2 or more years of experience in IBM PowerVM • 2 or more years of experience in SAP NetWeaver / Business Suite • Proven experience as end-user for SAP Solution Manager • Ability to manage complex projects and tasks • Ability to lead others providing technical guidance and direction • Proven experience as an Administrator of AIX servers hosting Shared Services applications • Proven experience as an Administrator of the IBM HMC connected to all AIX systems • Ability to work with senior level decision-makers on an on-going basis to develop strategic goals • 2 or more years of experience with Tivoli Storage Manager for backup and recovery • Proven understanding of technical issues to design architecture for stable technologies • Proven understanding of computer equipment capacity and limitations to devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems • Proven experience with systems analysis, design and programing • Excellent communication skill (written, verbal, presentations) • Excellent organization, analytical, planning and scheduling skills • Self-starter who can work with a large and diverse team of business, management and IT individuals • Proven experience working with large project teams • Microsoft Suite experience (e.g, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
