The client is seeking a Business Analyst contractor for an approximately 12 month engagement for the Departments PMO Organization supporting the DMV Modernization Program. The Business Analyst will be responsible for development of business requirements for a DMV and DOT change management and tracking solution. The number of change requests and project requests received for DMV changes as well as legislative changes initiated by enacted laws must be tracked, coordinated and followed up on through implementation. Role responsibilities: • Analyze, define, and document requirements for work flow and business processes • Document the projects and project deliverables as assigned • Work with the PMO Manager, Directors and Application Support Managers to develop tracking solution • Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with MS Project Server and Resource Capacity Planning • Consult with users to prototype, refine, test, and debug solution to meet Change Management needs • Provide quality control for project deliverables Description (including, but not limited to): 1. Managing business analysis work or projects with distinct deliverables to a solution 2. Identifying and documenting business processes, issues, value levers, metrics, and capabilities 3. Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data 4. Completing analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities 5. Conducting interviews to gather business requirements 6. Conducting industry, competitive and State analyses (strategic, financial, operational), business case development, as well as market research for benchmarking 7. Supporting required system go-live activities, including conversion, support desk, site support, training delivery, logistics management, etc. 8. Supporting change management and communications programs and activities 9. Performing PMO activities related to project time tracking, work plan updates, status reporting, service metric reporting, and related project administration tasks Required Skills: * Experience in business process analysis, requirements development, testing and documentation * Experience working at Program level and coordination of deliverables across multiple projects that make up the program * Working knowledge of application development life cycle * Strong analytical and conceptual skills * Microsoft Suite experience (e.g, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) Desired Skills: * Working knowledge of business improvement process and industry best practices   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
