The associated areas require a unique and specific set of skills, knowledge and experience that is not available in current agency personnel, particularly in the area of UERS application software architecture and associated development skills. Key Responsibilities include: ? Review Functional and Technical requirements for clarity. ? Research and analyze existing business documents and processes, including forms and reports, and assist in making recommendations about improvements to processes. ? Participate in Gap Analysis and Business Rule identification/validation. ? Data analysis and resolution of key data migration and integration problems. ? SQL and PL/SQL development. ? SQL tuning using standard Oracle tools. ? Development in Oracle 10g. ? Resolve any application issues found in functional, performance, regression or acceptance testing. ? Document design specifications and system architecture in accordance with NC DPI standards. ? Create and maintain Stored Procedures, Packages Functions, Procedures; Views, Materialized Views, and Triggers. ? Unix Shell Scripts development for batch process. ? Source code tool - Toad /PLSQL developer. ? Work with XML and Java based software packages to resolve upgrade and integration issues. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: ? Knowledge of the architecture and direct experience in the North Carolina Student information System, NC WISE (Preferred), Specifically: - eSIS - UERS (WebApps, Reporting, Workflow, etc.) - Reporting Hub - Agency/LEA data and extracts - SIS Data business rules ? Data analysis (Preferred) ? SQL and PL/SQL (Preferred) ? SQL tuning using standard Oracle tools (Preferred) ? Development in Oracle 10g (Preferred) ? Java (Desired) ? Experience in documenting design specifications and system architecture in accordance with NC DPI standards (Desired). ? Experience creating and maintaining Stored Procedures, Packages Functions, Procedures; Views, Materialized Views, and Triggers (Preferred) ?
