The selected candidate will be part of the team implementing a Client Management off the shelf (COTS) application for the NC Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services. This resource will be involved in all aspects of the project, from implementation though closeout, including data mapping, data conversion, testing, training, pilots and documentation. The ideal candidate will become familiar with the business processes of the client organizations and the COTS application which will be implemented to meet the client organizations? business needs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: REQUIRED: ? Understanding of highly technical concepts ? High level of understanding both business processes and developing best method to implement these business processes in software. ? Strong testing background ABILITY TO: ? Summarize and explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical/business team members. ? Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams, and manage the group dynamics. Develop, establish and maintain effective working relationships /partnerships with customers by responding to needs & exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identifying & developing solutions. ? Utilize technical understanding of computer programs and applications to develop detailed functional requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and test plans. ? Conduct gap analyses to define the differences between the application functionality desired by the clients and the out-of-the-box functionality of the COTS application. ? Coordinate testing efforts and document test cases and executed test results. Track and communicate testing issues between the client organization and the COTS vendor. EXPERIENCE: ? Business process analysis (Use Cases and/or process flows) and mapping (Gap Analysis) techniques. ? Publishing documents (e.g., requirements, design, test plans, training materials, etc.) output from typical IT projects. ? Testing IT applications against business process ?
