The candidate will be responsible for creating user-center web sites and applications for North Carolinas citizens. The candidate is responsible for creating wireframes, requirements, and storyboards and building them out with HTML, CSS and JavaScript in a SharePoint 2013 and .NET environment. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that the completed web pages are user friendly and look great on a variety of devices. This position will be involved with Client myDMV Portal project. The goal is to modernize DMV web presence by integrating DMVs online services across multiple platforms with single sign-on, shopping cart, and customer relationship management. Required Skills: * CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery * Wireframe creation experience using Balsamiq Mockups or similar tool * Experience in working in a collaborative environment of designers and developers. * Minimum of 5 years of design and front-end development experience. * Ability to build pages for browsers you love (Chrome, Firefox, Mobile Safari) and browsers you do not love (Internet Explorer 7-11) * Experience in designing for mobile first. * Knowledge of user experience and analysis.
