Participate in all phases of the software development cycle. The incumbent is responsible for software engineering for new and existing products and works with the entire SOA Center Team to ensure development conforms to performance optimization and interoperability standards and requirements. Working with other SOA Center staff, this individual will: Plan: Assist solution architects in translating requirements into technical specifications and data models for all assigned SOA projects and work efforts. Create enterprise development standards for SOA services. Consult with IT staff on incorporating new technology standards into future projects. Ability to investigate, research and implement new technologies in SOA related areas. Implement: Design, code, test, and implement complex SOA-based solutions; develop appropriate documentation according to established standards for all assigned SOA projects and work efforts. Required Skills: * Experience developing SOA-based enterprise solutions using: BizTalk * Experience developing XML Schemas and Namespaces * Experience in developing BizTalk Orchestrations and Itineraries. * Extensive knowledge and fluent in developing WCF (WSI-compliant) Web Services * Experience in developing business rules and invocation of business rules from web services * Strong knowledge and understanding of web services design and development patterns * Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server 2008, 2012) and data extraction tools (PL/SQL) * Understanding of and some experience with SQL Server SSIS, MDS, DQS * Understanding of data modeling and entity relationship models * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs * Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Object Oriented Design (OOD), Application Testing, User Interface Testing, Enterprise level SOA based Desired Skills: * 5 years SOA based development experience across a combination of platforms which include Biz Talk, Rules Engines and Data Management platforms * Experience with Powershell. * Education: BA or BS in Computer Science.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
