This is technical work in developing and supporting applications to support the grant and contract funding within the Broadband Infrastructure Office (BIO), with a defined/limited scope. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for compiling contract information within BIOs current State-funded GREAT grant agreements, so that all of the grant data is in one place. The position will also reconcile data with the EBS system which is utilized for accepting grant applications and making reimbursement payments. This position will be responsible for development of a short-term contract management database such as MS Access, as well as providing input on the implementation for a longer-term solution. Required Skills: - Experience developing, designing, and managing databases using basic database applications such as MS Access - Ability to input and manage data within a database application, and format needed reporting outputs - Demonstrated understanding of the general standards, skills and practices associated with the specialty and the theory behind applications systems analysis and programming - Ability to develop logical flow of simple applications and to design input/output and file specifications. - Demonstrated experience to think through data management challenges and suggest project alternatives and solutions. - Understand user needs may be met with minor modifications to existing solutions. - Understand the customers needs and resource limitations in order to provide appropriate solutions to customer and ability to establish effective working relationships.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
