This position will lead, supervise and manage the project and technical/ business teams for the division. This position is responsible for evaluating and selecting the team, assigning work and supervising the team; acting as the project manager for the team, providing technical guidance to the team, and leading and managing the team responsible for internal system readiness, interfaces, reports, and testing. This position is responsible for developing the detailed project plan, work breakdown structures, project checklists, staffing plan and budgets to meet established time frames. The position will coordinate project activities for adherence to project plan and goals; monitor results against established timelines, deliverables, tasks, dependencies and associated technical specifications; prepare comprehensive supporting plans in the areas of quality control, risk management, change management, testing and other associated project management areas; manage the project development process to include monitoring the project scope and change control processes; perform work in association with industry recognized standards, guidelines and practices; and adhering to established policy and procedures with respect to project management methodology, quality assurance and other related standards. This position will provide the project status other related standards. Required Skills: * At least seven (7) years of extensive hands-on experience with project management as the project lead with full accountability and financial responsi * Experience in resource management, Possess people management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills * Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts, information, plans, and procedures to both technical personnel and non-IT business users * Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, management, end users, and project team members * Ability to interact effectively with technical personnel and with a wide variety of technical resources * Technical hands-on expertise in Datawarehouse, BI Reporting and Analytics with technologies such as Base SAS and tools, Cognos, Oracle, FTP methods * Presentation and Training, Technical writing/Documentation, Excellent written and oral communication, interviewing, and interpersonal skills * Vendor and contract management experience, Experience working with and preparing procurement documentation and managing project vendors * Strong understanding of a HIPAA transaction set (5010) and ICD-9/ICD-10 code sets in medicaid claims processing system * Prior experience in managing projects in Medicaid, preferably in ICD-10, 5010, MSIS, and Pilot T-MSIS/T-MSIS projects   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
