The selected candidate must be a results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and must be able to demonstrate excellent IT Project Management, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills. This position will be responsible for working with senior-level business executives, IT personnel, Subject Matter Experts, Federal Partners, Retailers, and vendors to execute project requirements and manage stakeholder expectations. This candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills. The position will be responsible for writing Advanced Planning Documents, Requests for Proposals, and contract language. The position is based in Raleigh, some travel, including 5-10% out-of-state travel, may be required in performance of the work. Required Skills: * Extensive hands-on experience with project management as the project lead with full accountability and financial responsibility. * Vendor and contract management experience. * Experience working with and preparing procurement documentation and managing project vendors * Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts, information, plans, and procedures to both technical personnel and non-IT business users. * At least two years experience working with a large IT project in a lead role. * Solid work experience with project management tools (e.g.Microsoft Project, PPM Tool, Innotas). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Advanced leadership and general management skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities. * Expert organizational and multitasking skills. * Demonstrated ability to work with details and follow up on issues or concerns to closure. * Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Must be quick learner. * Comprehensive experience developing, writing, and managing Request for Proposals.
