The selected candidate will work with multiple project managers to plan, monitor and report progress on projects related to process re-engineering and process documentation, information technology, human resources/training, and communications. The Program/Project Manager will coordinate activities with management in the Retirement Services Division, Information Technology Division and the Office of the State Treasurer to achieve targeted program outcomes. This position will report project progress to DST executive leadership, including Deputy State Treasurers and the Treasurers Chief of Staff. In addition the candidate will be expected to work with these individuals on prioritization, resource allocation and acquisition, risk analysis and mitigation, and program steering activities and may be asked to perform business analysis and process definition activities as part of some initiatives. Required Skills: Required: * Experience in program management and the oversight of multiple project managers and teams * Experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, scope definition, risk assessment, and progress reporting * Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project * Strong skills in written and verbal communication, meeting management, and executive briefing * PMP certification Desired Skills: * Experience in business analysis, requirements solicitation and documentation, and process definition. Experience in the management of programs/projects in the areas of pension or retirement benefits.
