What Skillsets are required or Nice to Have: UNC Pembroke Department of Information Technology seeks a skilled project manager to assist with scheduling, budgeting, and managing information technology projects. Specifically, they desire experience with ERP system improvements, new Portal implementation, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience. Description (including, but not limited to): • Experience with higher education in North Carolina. • Experience with ERP systems, customer relationship management systems, and portal implementations. • Knowledge of North Carolina state government organization, structure and IT oversight and management structure and mechanisms. • Knowledge of the Project Management process, procedures, documentation, checklists, and reporting criteria. • Managing scope, resources, timelines, costs/budget, quality, communication, and procurements to meet the goals of the State. • Responsibility for the successful completion of end to end project work, including all work products. • Oversight of projects comprised of multiple deliverables, including delegation and coordination of tasks. • Responsibility for creation and management of the integrated project plan, execution of the project plan, project status, meetings, scope changes, risk and issue tracking/mitigation, coordination across project teams, etc. • Negotiations internal and external to the project teams. Additional Training/Experience: • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred • State government experience preferred • Experience with higher education • Experience managing enterprise-wide programs/projects preferred • Experience in developing reports and graphical presentations for technical and non-technical audiences • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products and Project Server   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
