Duties include client needs assessment as well as evaluating hardware availability and software requirements. This position will be responsible for various activities related to the design, implementation and maintenance of complex Oracle and SQL Server databases. Experienced in supporting applications based on various platforms and technologies such as IBM Mainframe, Sun Solaris (UNIX), Database platforms and tools (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MS Access), SAS DI Integration, Unix shell script, C/C++, SQL query writing, Stored Procedures, FTP, Encryption/Decryption tools, IIS, Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, TCP/IP, Network, Firewall, VM Architecture, SSL Certificate Tools, Active Directory, VPN Solaris, VI Editor, Curl, X Windows, Word, Excel, IE, and Firefox.
