This positions responsibilities include creation and execution of test cases for functional, integration and regression test plans based on Business Requirements and Functional Design Documents. Responsible for Creating and maintaining test results documentation, Test Results reporting and support defect tracking process and ensure projects adherence to QA testing methodologies, best practices and policies. Ability to conduct and actively participate in Test Reviews, Status Meetings and provide testing progress reports. Position requires to be able to interact and work collaboratively with other state business units, stakeholders, vendors and users and Provide strong individual contributions for achieving team and project goals. Required Skills: * Experience assessing the test-ability of requirements and test readiness and developing test plans and test cases based on Business Requirements * Experience in the execution of functional, integration and regression tests. * Experience with Test data creation and SQL queries. * Experience in the review, analysis and reporting of test results. College or university degree and five (5) years experience in IT Testing of Business Applications. Experience may be substituted year by year basis. * Demonstrated experience of working with stakeholders, vendors and users. * Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Desired Skills: * Knowledge of Test and Defect Management Tool, SILK * Experience with Previous Large scale State or Federal projects. * Working knowledge of Medicaid, Public Health or Mental Health Operations. * Knowledge and experience with SQL * Knowledge of ICD-10 is desired but not required. * Knowledge and experience working with State Government systems * Knowledge of North Carolina MMIS   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
