This position includes developing and executing test cases and working collaboratively with business functional leads. The UAT analysts primary responsibility is to create and deliver high quality portal solution for SPACES eligibility system and to ensure that the implemented software code and processes meets the requirements of the business programs, conforms to all applicable Federal and state laws and meets the needs of customers. Job Responsibilities: • Participate in joint application design session with development team and policy stakeholders for program enhancements or defects • Collaborate with policy and business analyst leads on necessary approach for adequate testing coverage • Participate in project meetings such as defect triage and test case and/or requirements documentation reviews involving cross-functional teams, key business stakeholders and development managers. • Work with small teams of business analysts, implementation and operational managers, external vendors and consultants to support implementation activities. • Develop and execute test cases, document results and coordinate user acceptance test activities with subject matter experts. • Actively manage application defects from inception through resolution, working with business SMEs, application designers, developers and testers to effectively prioritize and drive to resolution. • Execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cases, capturing and reporting results using approved defect tracking tools and communicating to appropriate stakeholders. • Create quality UAT testing strategies, estimate resources, schedules and manage execution of planned UAT activities. • Monitor UAT progress; eliminate obstacles, report progress and recommendations to project and senior management. • Functions as a Business area subject matter expert to answer questions and address issues on the operation of an application which may come from staff or management • Participate in larger teams as a team member, and/or work independently • Participate in joint application design session with development team and policy stakeholders for program enhancements or defects • Identify areas for process improvement to improve quality and optimize cost. Experience/Preferred Skills Required: • 8+ years of experience working on large scale, complex projects. • 5+ years of economic assistance program industry in a role centered around test case creation, technical acumen and experience with multiple systems interfaces expertise. • Extensive knowledge of operational business functions and the application of information systems. • Proven ability to validate test data preparation and verify all teams are aligned with what needs to occur to build/prepare the business functional tests, regression, and end to end testing. • Ability to create quality UAT testing strategies and manage UAT project activities across multiple teams or functional Business areas. • Demonstrated strong cross-functional communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills. • Ability to summarize UAT status, develop execution metrics and escalate issues as necessary to Management. • Ab   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
