Key job activities will be performing moderate to complex project and program fiscal analysis for internal reporting, planning, and forecasting/budgeting for administrative and aid expenditures. Job Responsibilities: Provide regularly scheduled financial reporting with key financial performance indicators. Perform ad-hoc fiscal analysis to evaluate impacts or model potential outcomes and fiscal impacts of potential technology system, policy, or healthcare delivery system changes. Organize budget templates and data in a clear and intuitive manner. Manage budgets by monitoring costs, conducting budget-to-actual-to-forecast variance analysis, and update forecasts as necessary. Monitor recommendations on how to maximize project budgets and minimize risk. Evaluate contracts to identify important financial terms and payment schedules. Process contractor invoices and monitor payment status. Provide briefings, related documentation and reports for financial assessments. Collaborate with executives, product owners, and project managers to develop a budget informed of potential financial issues/risks and proactively work on resolving potential problems before they became a significant issue/risk. Meets with managers regularly to review spend analysis and works with managers to update cost projections to reflect current project status. Required Credentials and Experience: Post high school education in accounting, finance, public or business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related areas OR Responsibility for any of the following functions: fiscal or accounting systems analysis; budget analysis or preparation; cost/benefit accounting and/or analysis; design and/or development of accounting control and reporting systems; financial auditing; fiscal records, management; or related areas. Exceptional written and oral communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must be well organized and possess excellent teamwork skills Highly developed analytical skills Ability to process large quantities of information to evaluate costs, benefits, and project outcomes Ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders  Preferred Credentials and Experience: Working knowledge of government regulations as they pertain to grant programs the advance planning document (APD) request process. Experience in developing associated proposed budgets for systems, solutions, and personnel in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) APD document as well as any updates.   Experience in cost allocation methodologies for federal and state benefit programs.
