This individual develops manual and automated tests and test data for executing against the integrated solution. Working in partnership with other scrum team members to ensure the goals of the sprints are achieved. The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, able to work successfully in a fast-paced Agile program, with multiple environments and technologies. The individual will work closely with other Agile Team Members/Scrum Team Members, Business SMEs, other QA Test Engineers, stake-holders, executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results and troubleshooting. Individual must have strong understanding of SDLC processes, the QA lifecycle, Agile, DevOps and SQL. Scope of Activities: The Sr. QA Automation Engineer (Agile) will demonstrate competencies in these job responsibilities: Reports to Test Lead Serves as the QA Automation lead on the Agile team Designs test data used in conjunction with test cases and automated scripts Interprets business and system design documentation and write test cases which provide complete requirements coverage Provides QA expertise on tasks and estimates/sizings to the Agile lead/Scrum Master Participates in design discussions/sprints to remove issues before they are coded Uses testing experience to guide how the configuration and coding will promote an easy to use, user friendly and quality solution Responsible for creating and executing test design, test cases and scripts, verification/validation, systems integration testing and performance testing Works with the Agile Team to resolve cross-functional issues Designs test cases to include all steps and expected results in a format which can be executed manually or can be used for Automation Ensures proper linking of test cases to developer tasks, requirements, stories and or defects Executes test cases and record results properly to include screen shots; defect management Leads the designing Test Plans and Test Approach Works with Developers to determine when test results are not expected results as per specifications Partners with vendor to execute and or the Business to track and resolve testing issues by holding defect management meetings with involved parties Reviews defects for validity and priority with Scrum team Coordinates with shared services organizations on specific testing issue resolutions Develops, enhances, and maintains tools/applications for a test automation framework supporting automated functional testing using a combination of off-the-shelf and custom-built systems Establishes requirements, evaluates, and recommends test automation tools Creates automated tests for functional/GUI validation of company products and related components Ensure adherence to standards and best practices (e.g. enterprise testing standards, etc.) Reports on Test Coverage estimated work efforts Ability to write status reports for themselves, projected risk analysis and next steps in work effort Aligns test schedules to meet project time line testing expectations Determine test data needed for execution and identify data gaps in test environment Required Credentials and Experience: 10+   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
