Under the direction of the Chief Information Security Officer this position will assist with the planning, designing, implementation and maintenance of security systems. This person will be responsible for the hands on day to day support for some of the departments security applications (Check Point, Splunk, DLP Software...) on an as needed basis. A strong understanding of network security and connectivity and ADFS Security is highly desired. The individual will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of these systems is maintained. The person in this position will assist with the design and maintenance of the departments firewalls. This person will also consult with project development teams and provide recommendations to maintain a secure computing environment to the CISO. This position will work with the CISO ensuring the security and integrity of data, data systems, and data networks across the entire department is maintained. Knowledge and application of (or the ability to learn) the Departments and Commonwealths policies, procedures and software is critical. Required Skills: * Significant skills and expertise in Splunk, Check Point, Blue Coat, Global Scape, McAfee ePO, Endpoint DLP, or other Enterprise Level Security * Skilled in communicating recommendations to Senior Management * Skilled in Active Directory (User Groups and Folder Permissions) * Skilled in Microsoft Office Products * Skilled in Customer Service and Support Desired Skills: * Security Experience at the Enterprise Level * Experience or can become familiar with PCI 3.1 Requirements   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
