Job Description Consultant: System Analyst, Business Requirements, SQL Scripting, UAT Help Desk Business Analyst

Description :


Business / System Analyst role:

Own/Responsible for:
Meet with Stakeholders to understand their business needs and ultimately their business Requirements
Develops and maintains relationships with appropriate members of the business/function/geography organization.
Collaborate with Business PM, business SMEs and IT teams in Requirements elicitation activities.
Review High level Business Requirements Document
Liaise with Business representatives to prioritize business requirements and clarify scope
Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories, or techniques.

Participate in:
Work with Solution Architect to capture solution options, including recommended option for going forward
Prepares for and presents in Architecture Review & Approval before FDDs/User stories are complete
Document assumptions and constraints.
Manage requirements change through effective change control processes
Provide input to test cases. Ensure that the requirement is fully understood by the quality assurance or testing team, to allow them produce robust system / integration test cases
Assist UAT phases
Assist QA and Business with Defect resolution
Participate in Sprint Retrospectives

Own/Responsible for:
Elaborate/Refine User stories/Acceptance test cases in collaboration with Business Teams
Create FDDs / Use cases
Develop various requirements models utilizing mock ups, process/workflow diagram models and /or data modelling
Manage requirements traceability to ensure each Business requirement has been delivered as we have specified, through functional testing
Perform Data analysis through SQL scripting

Typically a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years of related experience or a Masters degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience. Management considers the employee to be recognized by the industry as an expert in their field.
