The effort is to upgrade the client current Presentation Server 4.x to the latest 6.5 platform. Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a Citrix XenApp 6.5 environment with an emphasis on published applications. Knowledge in using 3rd party Application Packaging technologies a plus. Responsibilities of position: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing technical and functional analysis, design and development of the clients future Citrix Farms via Windows Server Systems and supported applications.? The applicant will primarily be involved in the evaluation and recommendation of new technologies to improve performance, stability and security of the Citrix environment and Windows server environment.? Will assist with day-to-day operational and application maintenance duties to understand the functionality of the Citrix Farm. Assist in defining System requirements.? Create end user and support documentation.? Manage multiple requests, tasks and requirements.? Participate in the installation and testing of supported Citrix applications.? Strong knowledge of Citrix XenApp environment.? Strong Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and tools.? Knowledge of client devices (PCs/?Laptops/?iPads).? Excellent problem solving; analytical and troubleshooting skills; solid understanding of underlying technologies: hardware, software, networking, internet and wireless.? Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and ability to cope in a fast-paced environment.? Ability to prioritize, organize, and assess work load in order to meet deadlines.? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.? Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, vendors and management.? Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.? Must be adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.? Must be able to multi-task effectively.? Bachelors degree and/?or related experience preferred.? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, managers, product specialists and business customers.
