Use these notes to help you out: His SQL skills were good but he was not very proficient in deeper understanding of query engine structure that is necessary for analyses and optimization of SQL scripts. He worked with relatively less amount of data set and struggled to explain how he dealt with large data sets. He had some basic knowledge of BI tools but not in depth understanding of how BI tools are useful for businesses. He struggled to explain how his role and responsibilities fitted in the team that he worked for in different projects. His knowledge of AWS Redshift was insufficient and struggled to explain how he worked with AWS using different tools technologies. Skill-Set Summary: Must have 5 to 7 years of experience in IT industry with specialized skills in MS SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, SQL Integration Services and SQL Analysis Services, C# .NET Programming Language. Strong MS SQL Server 2008 and newer Developer Skills including writing Stored Procedures, User-Defined Functions, Triggers, Views and Indexes etc. Experienced in identifying database performance issues, Trouble Shooting them and applying Query Optimization techniques. Experienced with management and development using AWS Redshift database SQL Server 2008 and newer Administration including user authorizations, database creation, Backup and restoration a plus. Experienced in Reports and Dashboard development in Microstrategy, Tableau and other modern reporting tools High expertise in creating Reports of all types in SSRS, like Ad-hoc Reports, Drill-Down Reports, Drill through reports, Pivot and Tabular reports. Excellent ability to create complex SSRS templates and should be able to understand the report level and database level data manipulation to improve reports generation process. Strong knowledge of ETL architectures for data transfers between two or more than two homogeneous or heterogeneous environments. Experienced in creating packages using various tools (DTS/SSIS Import Export Data, DTS/SSIS Packages, Bulk Insert and BCP, SSIS) with using C# scripting language for transferred data modifications. High Expertise in developing MS Windows Application Environment using C# .Net programming language, capable of supporting and handling complex business requirements. Proficient in developing windows application using C# .Net programming language and connecting it to different data sources such as MS SQL, MS Access, and MS Excel etc. Highly expert in developing optimized programming algorithms to satisfy business requirements in the most efficient way. Good understanding of OLTP and OLAP information systems with ability to extract, transform and load data from OLTP to EDW. Worked on Agile scrum Methodology and designed high level ETL architecture for overall data transfer among multiple environments using SSIS. As a part of the team, extensively involved through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from initial Planning through implementation of the project. Capable of handling responsibilities independently as well as a proactive team member. Fast learning capability, can adapt to the n-tier development environment, excellent communication, learning, problem solving and conceptual skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as individually.
