Description :

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing data warehousing solutions, facilitating requirements gathering sessions, documenting requirements, analyzing and evaluating possible solutions to meet requirements and designing tables and entity-relationship diagrams to be created in a data warehouse. Master Data Management and Data Governance experience is a plus.

-- Conducts data architecture and data integration design work to align data set attributes/fields across different systems to ensure common connection points are in place when connecting and blending data sets.

- Design data marts to support aggregated reporting requirements.

- Creates business rules and data mappings for data warehouse loading and data integration processes.

- Provides guidance and support to data warehouse and data integration developers by documenting rules and source to target data mappings required to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.

- Proficiency in SQL

- Strong data analysis skills including the ability to analyze raw system data.

- Serves as a Master Data Management analyst in the resolution of data quality anomalies.

- Analyzes data integration errors and works with data integration teams to provide solutions and improve data quality.

- Presents discoveries and insights to line of business teams, relating them to specific programs and initiatives.

- Works with technical teams to identify data sources and provide requirements for reporting to support dashboard development.

- Documents current contents of data warehouse including plain-English descriptions and mapping back to data entry screens.

- Conducts Quality Assurance Testing on new data warehouse content to ensure accuracy.

- Coordinates work efforts by acting as liaison between Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Data Management Developers to ensure successful design and implementation of data processing components for data warehouses.

- Identifies work efforts involved inside and outside of the scope of a data-centric project.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 to 8 years PREFERRED EDUCATION: 4-year college degree or
equivalent technical study or advanced degree
