Are you energetic and enthusiastic, as well as uniquely talented? We have a 30-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires an Expert Oracle Forms & Reports Software Architect. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Act as a Lead Oracle Forms and Reports developer on all assigned projects. Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and tuning Oracle 10g Forms and Reports programs for a high profile OLTP production application. Provide architectural direction on all assigned projects. Ensure that the system architecture integrates hardware, software, data, and procedural system components to satisfy system requirements. Provide overall technical vision of various internal and customer facing software applications. Work with key program area stakeholders to understand the business requirements for new/redesigned systems. Articulate and communicate the architecture and key design patterns within the program areas and IT. Collaborate with the IT and program area leads to translate program area requirements into technology requirements and recommend viable technical options. Defines the migration and implementation strategy. Acts as a Mentor in developing the skills and expertise of other IT developers on the team by performing code reviews and suggesting changes that will best fit the Program and Agency needs. Mandatory Qualifications: Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system. 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 84 months designing, architecting, and guiding the implementation of high-end, scalable, robust applications and solutions using Oracle Forms and Reports v10 or higher. 84 months experience developing scripts and testing for an Oracle 9i/10g/11g/12c environment. 84 months experience developing in PL/SQL and SQL&astPlus and SQL writing stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. 84 months experience creating UNIX shell scripts, and programming applications for use with UNIX, NT, and PC environments. 60 Months experience performing advanced analytical and technical support of application interfaces and system interconnects. 60 months developing with XML & SOAP using SOA and Web Services. 12 months experience with FileNet.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
