This position will assist with the data migration and analysis needed to accomplish the RRSM project, which will result in a solution that will address the business transformation of three core business functions and the development of a modern, web-based application and reporting system for Homes and Community Renewals Office of Rent Administration (ORA), the Tenant Protection Unit (TPU) and the General Counsels office. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Perform all stages of data migration from data analysis to pre go-live validations, user acceptance testing, user sign-off, cut-over planning and post go-live validations. Interact with legacy business users to understand business process flow, business logics and to assess major data objects, data volume for data migration. Develop logical and physical data model for OLTP system. Design, develop and maintain data migration programs. Assist with development of Oracle APEX 20.2 application and REST services. Migrate data from Oracle Service Cloud to Oracle databases. Document data extraction, mapping, cleansing and migration processes. Perform various operational support, system analysis and system design activities such as development of conceptual design, requirements, flow diagrams, program specifications, workflows and logical/physical data models. Develop SQL queries and use data analytics tools to produce application reports. Manage application releases and deployments and follow release management procedures. Analyze technical components and application infrastructure and manage technical documentation of multiple environments and mapping of applications and infrastructure. Install, configure or customize software and ensure that the configuration meets system requirements. Conduct and participate in systems maintenance activities, including making emergency corrections caused by events such as systems failure, operation errors, changes in legislation or user requirements, or changes in the IT environment. Adheres to software release management best practices for all software deployments. Mandatory Qualifications: Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer 84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree 84 months experience performing end-to-end data migration activities using standards-based web services for a government entity. 60 months experience developing web-based applications using Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures. 84 months experience in creating logical and physical data models for OLTP systems. 84 months experience in complex SQL development. 48 months experience with Oracle Application Express 5 or newer.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
