Work with Program staff to define regression test scenarios. Using test case templates provided, create a test case for each test scenario with clearly defined test steps, test data requirements and expected results. Review test cases created by other staff. Create test data. Provide support as requested for user acceptance test execution, including analysis and validation of testing defects. Work closely with ITS and Program managers to ensure adherence to standard policies and procedures. Qualifications: Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence. 60 Months - Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. 60 months of experience working with project/program staff to create testing strategies for web applications. 60 months of experience working directly with business analysts, program subject matter experts and technical staff, to define test scenarios. 60 months of experience creating detailed functional test cases based on use cases, software specifications, and/or design documents. 48 months of experience creating repeatable test cases for use in manual regression testing. 60 months of experience executing test cases and creating and monitoring defects. 60 months of experience supporting or participating in User Acceptance Testing efforts.
