We are looking for someone familiar with application monitoring configuration as we are on boarding monitoring for multiple applications. Are there certain versions of SQL/Oracle that would be beneficial for this person to have? It would range from SQL 2005 to current version. What will this person be helping design? This person will be working with my team with onboarding application monitoring, reporting, etc. Would it be beneficial to have someone who is 50/50 Engineer/Administrator to help configure as well as implement/maintain? Our infrastructure is in place. I am looking for someone who is experienced in setting monitoring for various types of applications.
