The engineer will be responsible for all aspects of environment planning including: capacity management, monitoring, scalability, auditing, disaster recovery, and interoperability. The role is responsible for assisting with design and implementation of new technologies to replace legacy systems and processes. Essential Job Functions: Design, write, and deliver software and systems to manage applications and application infrastructure Design, manage, and govern capacity across all technical stacks of the application or system Design processes for automation of code deployment and delivery through all environments of SDLC Configure and monitor cloud infrastructure and services as it pertains to the applications hardware and business processes. Facilitate collaboration between development and operations teams throughout the application lifecycle Partner with Corporate Information Security to ensure all security policies and audit inquiries are addressed Coordinate and align all other technology teams to ensure operational delivery processes are governed and monitored to expedite issue remediation Minimum Position Qualifications: 5 or more years experience in system analysis, design or programming and the associated development methodologies Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization. Ability to interact well in a team environment. Experience with dev/ops technologies, i.e. Docker, Git, Puppet, Ansible, or other similar technologies. Experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, Go, Ruby, C++ or Shell Scripting Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration (e.g., filesystems, services, syslog) Proficiency with the use of datastores like Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres Can demonstrate understanding of the following: DNS, Load Balancing, TCP/IP, Firewalls Desired Previous Job Experience IS related associate degree, or a bachelors degree, or comparable work experience in an Information Systems position or related business position. 4 - 6 years experience in adjacent technologies.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
