The assignment consists of working as a member of our Global Market Data Modernization project team, defining, designing, and developing interfaces between a vendor market pricing product and various in-house and externally hosted applications. We will be replacing interfaces written in obsolete technology(Webmethod 6.x) into a supportable, service oriented architecture. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment. The work is expected to be executed using Agile methodologies. The candidate will work with the team Architect and end users to help define requirements, and design interfaces for the application. We also expect to require assistance in upgrading grid controls on an internally developed application using the Infragistics grid to the Ignite grid. Required Skillsets: * C# in . Net 3.5 or 4.5 framework * Java Script * Infragistics ignite UI grid * Web Service (WCF and SOAP) development * WSDL, XML, XSD and/or XSLT design, any other Data Transformations * Oracle and PL/SQL * ASP.Net Web Form or MVC development * SVN (Subversion Source Control) Knowledge * Visual Studio 2013 Experience * Testing/test case development Optional Skillsets: * Webmethods 6.x, 8.x * Agile development methodology * Quality Center Job Functions: Responsible for building and supporting complex and or multiple applications and systems at an intermediate level using current technology and industry standard tools and assisting with the development of program specifications. Responsibilities include software coding, component assembly, testing, test planning, debugging, maintenance, and support. Participate in applications systems development reviews.
