The System Admin will be responsible for understanding the technical details surrounding the implementation of COTS solutions used by ODOT. The position will require knowledge similar to a Server Admin which would include: Web application architecture, Active Directory integration, software installation, database connectivity, firewall ports, security, vulnerabilities, working with a project team, team work, documentation, lead technical resource, install software patches, performance monitoring, troubleshooting performance issues, vendor management and coordination and excellent communication skills. Required Skills: * All roles specified in SA3 plus the following * Act as the liaison between the technical vendor specialist and the ODOT team. * Develop the technical documentation for the proposed solution in ODOTs environement and deployment plans * Act as the technical expert for various COTS products currently installed at ODOT and future implementations * Analyze, determine and give recommendations on performance issues related to COTS implementations Must have excellent communication skills * Reviews, recommends and implements software patches and maintenance to the COTS products.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
