This position will also be required to pair with the Integrations Developer to develop integrations with other systems. We are looking for a mid-level developer with at least 5 years of total experience related to technical design and solutions work. The ideal candidate should have decent knowledge about Agile and Scrum methodologies. Test Automation Engineer Provides input on how test automation can support project test strategy and test planning Supports testing of a project by writing new, or updating existing, automated test scripts that can be used to accomplish a test objective as determined by the project test lead Coordinates with functional testers to review and clarify functional tests being automated Provides test environment requirements specifically for the needs of test automation Executes, or oversees the execution of, automated tests per plan/schedule as directed by the test lead Review repository of automated test scripts, test suites, and test data Review automation requests and provide feedback Create defects when appropriate 3 – 5 years experience designing and developing automated testing frameworks and test scripts 3+ years experience with Java programming language and object oriented programming best practices 3 years experience with Selenium/Selenium Grid, Cucumber/Gherkin Operates mainly independently but with oversight from Test Automation Engineer to review requirements, write test scripts, execute tests, report defects, and work with development staff to resolve defects. Responsibilities may also include writing test plans, conducting test script reviews and reporting testing status to management. Preferred Skills: Experience or knowledge in Agile/Scrum practices (TDD, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) with DEVOPS mindset Strong working knowledge of QA best practices in Agile development with automation mindset Experienced in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including customer requirement analysis and system design Experience with SOAP-UI, Hudson (or similar CI tools) preferred.
