Participates in and/or provides guidance for large-scale assignments with minimal direction from senior staff. Provides guidance for the preparation of estimates, evaluations, and recommendations. Demonstrates advanced level problem solving skills and functional area knowledge. Principal Accountabilities: Provides technical solutions for development of new Java application to be used for managing the selling of Accounts Receivables and Utility Securitization. Provides input on how test automation can support project test strategy and test planning. Supports testing of a project by writing new, or updating existing, automated test scripts that can be used to accomplish a test objective as determined by the project test lead. Coordinates with functional testers to review and clarify functional tests being automated. Provides test environment requirements specifically for the needs of test automation. Executes automated tests per plan/schedule as directed by the test lead. Review repository of automated test scripts, test suites, and test data. Review automation requests and provide feedback. Create defects when appropriate. 3 – 5 years experience designing and developing automated testing frameworks and test scripts. 3+ years experience with Java programming language and object oriented programming best practices. Experience with Oracle Database 12c. Experience with Eclipse, NetBeans IDE. Experience with JAX-WS. 3 years experience with Selenium and Cucumber. Experience with Jenkins preferred. Operates mainly independently but with oversight from Test Lead to review requirements, write test scripts, execute tests, report defects, and work with development staff to resolve defects. Responsibilities may also include writing test plans, conducting test script reviews and reporting testing status to management. Communicates to present ideas and influence people. Utilizes collective skills to elicit and communicate business drivers. Understands and adheres to processes and standards which apply to daily work.
