Job Description Developer: Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL - Microsoft, Java Experience Microservices Experience

Description:
Responsibilities

Responsible for building a REST-based service layer connecting bamboo with several other applications.
Responsible for using Spring Boot as the framework
This resource will largely be doing the development work on their own but will have support in the build/release and deployment area
Develop and modify complex application programs from detailed specifications, including coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining programs;
Provide steady state support, configuration and maintenance of Production & sourcing systems in conjunction with third party partners
Assist subject matter experts with analyzing data flows for system improvement opportunities within the business
Assist other software developers with analyzing code for system developments and improvements
Assist end users in identifying and resolving system issues by providing application knowledge and expertise
Monitor and resolve system performance issues

Will require experience with:

Java Development
Object Oriented Programming
Spring Framework
Database experience
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Rest API
Linux Version Control
Ability to understand SQL queries as they will need it to navigate some of the existing applications.
Experience in DevOps and .net is a plus, but not necessary
