This includes various operating systems and virtual and physical servers. - Gathers requirements, designs, and deploys server-based solutions to meet business needs. This includes physical server deployment as well as allocation if virtual server capacity (internal and external). MUST HAVES: Technical Skills Required - Expert on Linux Suse 10.x,11.x and Redhat Linux 5.x, 6.x, - Knowledgeable on AIX 5.3, 6.x - System automation and management technologies - Strong working knowledge of Clustering/HA technologies and methodologies - Working understanding of networking technology - Rolling out and supporting patch cycles - Scripting - Working knowledge of server hardware, software and operating systems, platform configuration, virtual technologies, networking/distributed computing environments, and systems management tools.
