The role requires an understanding of Cloud Technologies and Services, Agile methodologies, and IT Operations based on ITIL Framework. The roles primary focus is to provide build and operations expertise with a high focus on automation in areas such as performance, monitoring, logging, security, compliance, and ensuring the operations processes and standards are maintained in production. What is expected to be used in the role: Knowing how to use ansible and being able to teach it to the team. Need to have hands on experience orchestrating an application. Need to be able to write start/stop startup scripts. SAP Orchestration experience. Understanding of Windows or Linux. Understanding of how the Cloud works. (AWS, Azure, Google) Patching Scripts and Servers. Understanding of sysctl. Experience with DevOps automation tools. Having been in a lead position in the past and having great communication skills.
