REMOTE PART TIME FOR 1 YEAR 5 to 10 hours a week SCHEDULE WILL BE NEGOTIATED WHEN SELECETED The purpose of this request is to procure Applications Senior Data Architect services for ODOT Transportation Applications Development (TAD) within the Information Systems Branch (ISB). we are currently tasked with ensuring the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) related assets and highway network within TransInfo can be captured, managed and reported on, supporting ODOTs compliance with a current legal settlement. Additionally, TDS is responsible for enhancing existing systems to allow the management of ODOTs highway asset data and data in support of existing and new federal Map-21 Act and FAST Act requirements. To successfully complete these efforts, we has a significant need for services, including the review, analysis and design for new and modified assets and reporting. Services may include requirements, architecture, design specifications, testing documentation, and implementation materials for these and other related assets in support of TDS asset management priorities. The scope of services under this WOC is as follows: Provide consultations and solution recommendation for Bentley Assetwise (TransInfo) implementation or data models Understand Transportation data and Linear Reference System/Measurement (LRM). Identify, define and determine the requirements for TransInfo network and asset data architecture. Conduct and support data cleanup activities Publish and/or present design reports Identifying areas for improvement in current systems Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines Provide consultation and data analysis to support data integrity and reporting Create and support the creation of functional specifications for interfaces data models, extracts and reports Prepare test data, write queries, and support testing activities including creating test plans and test cases; test the new system Contribute to data integration activities Create implementation documentation and support the implementation process. Understand the business requirements and translate them into Conceptual, Logical and Physical models Uses a variety of information gathering techniques (e.g., interviews, facilitation, diagrams) to gather complex business data requirements from Business teams Coordinate data models, data dictionaries, and other database documentation across multiple applications Leads design reviews of data deliverables such as models, data flows, and data quality assessments Perform data analysis, discovery, profiling and identify the cause of data issues and work with the broader team to resolve.
