Project Manager will be expected to manage 1-2 large IT projects as the primary and potentially 1 or more smaller ones in a supporting or non-full time role. This position will need to jump into existing projects and take over management with minimal assistance from management. Position is expected to last 12 months. Experience navigating DAS EIS Oversight and StageGate process is a must. Should have strong experience developing and managing project scope, budget, and deliverables over a million dollars as well as creating DAS EIS approved artifacts including but not limited to Project Plans, Project Schedules, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Organizational Change Management Plans, Scope/Schedule/Budget statements, etc. Ability to engage business and external stakeholders, run Steering Committee Meetings, and engage with customers is expected. Previous experience working with DOC IT Systems or State/Government IT is preferred. Advanced level: Individuals with a mastery of project management skills, qualifications and experience. This individual shall function effectively with very little supervision, while maintaining a high professional standard. They are assigned to extremely complex and/or high risk projects that reflect the highest priorities of state government. These individuals are comfortable working with the highest levels of state government and are able to contribute to the furtherance of the states objectives.
