The applicant must be skilled in VB.NET, SQL Server, and have good debugging skills. Applicant must have the ability to modify & Read VB.Net as well as the ability to lead other developers in completion of their tasks. C# is required. He or she must also have a high attention to detail, be results oriented, be able to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, be a team player as well as leader. This position reports to the Manager of Application Development and will serve as a Development Lead. Position Relationships: Reports to: Manager of Application Development Position Essential Required Functions: ASP.NET web application development using Visual Studio 2010 (or higher) and integrated source control with Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2008 (or higher). ASP.NET Web Application Development in VB.NET Ability to modify & Read VB.Net Ability to lead other developers in completion of their tasks-required C# required SQL Development (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views) in SQL Server Creating reports in SSRS Develop application solutions from documented business requirements in cooperation with Application Architect and Project Manager. Investigate, identify, and resolve production issues within applications and processes by working independently or with the architecture, development and infrastructure teams. Perform code reviews of development teams application code, stored procedures, functions, and triggers following best practices and standards. Make recommendations to architecture team regarding new patterns, technologies, best practices, and standards. Interface with internal colleagues and external vendors. Be available when code is deployed to production. Position Required Qualifications: Require 6 years or more experience working with the following technologies: Ability to modify & Read VB.Net Ability to lead other developers in completion of their tasks C# required Microsoft ASP.NET in VB.NET SQL Server jQuery HTML CSS JavaScript XML, XSLT Desired Experience Knockout.js JSON MVC Skills Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to plan, organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
