Complete Description: The Mobile Device Security person will serve as a technical security resource responsible for structuring a secure environment to design/deploy mobile applications and for identifying mobile device and software vulnerabilities. They will work with development teams to design and implement solutions to ensure and protect the safety and security of information systems data that may be accessed from mobile applications and software products. They will provide guidance and direction for the protection of information systems, applications and intellectual property assets. Essential Responsibilities: Conduct mobile security assessments including threat modeling, security penetration testing and vulnerability assessments Utilize both manual methods and automated tools to identify and exploit vulnerabilities to further enhance mobile software security assessment methodologies and processes Facilitate the development and communication of software standards for secure mobile software design, development and deployment Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to detect, mitigate, triage, and remediate mobile software security defects across the enterprise Work with application and product teams to encourage a security mindset throughout software development from concept to testing and implementation Assessing the mobile security requirements for emerging mobile technology and work with development teams to define remediation activities Review existing data storage and transit processes, documenting any shortcomings and recommendations for resolution. Qualifications/Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Minimum 3 years of experience in software security testing, application security architecture, mobile security Minimum 2 years of experience in assessing web application security and protocol analysis Minimum 1 years of experience in assessing mobile device security configuration including Android, Windows mobile, iPhone, iPad and Blackberry Experience with data security in regards to data at rest as well as data in transit Desired Characteristics: Ability to identify ways to bypass mobile device policies and controls Familiar with mobile security attack scenarios and common vulnerabilities Familiar with mobile risk assessments and threat modeling Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources Demonstrated customer focus; building strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint Strong analytical skills – strong problem solving skills, can communicate in a clear manner and effectively evaluates information as well as data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve Change oriented – actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
