ITSM Performance Data And Work IT Asset Management Process Analyst Process Improve   Requirement id 45828 Job title Analyst Job location in Philadelphia, PA Skills required Itil Service Management Framework, ITIL Foundation Certification, Continuous Service Improvement (CSI), ITSM Performance Data And Work IT Asset Open Date 15-May-2015 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 6 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: Itil Service Management Framework, ITIL Foundation Certification, Continuous Service Improvement (CSI), ITSM Performance Data And Work IT Asset Description: Act as an internal consultant, providing continuous improvement by applying methodologies to the IT functions.This position will be responsible for conducting special studies relating to processes.He would help the organization drive high performance in IT asset management operation and to achieve continuous improvement. • Research industry best practices and compare against the organizations practices in order to establish benchmarks for managing IT assets. • Identify system and process enhancements that will improve the IT asset management s processes and support future business needs. • Implementing new technologies and systems to advance knowledge of IT asset management operations and process improvements. • Lead and facilitate meetings with various project teams, including end users, senior management, and IS team members. • Develop in-depth knowledge of the customers operations and assigned functional areas. • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in the IT asset management environment. • Perform return on investment analysis for proposed changes to aid management in making implementation decisions in the IT Asset Management processes. • Communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications – verbally or through written documentation – to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood. • Develop project plans and timeframes for Asset Management process changes in order to support company objectives. • Monitor and analyze trends in company spending and inventory control in order to make recommendations for the future, and to identify areas for possible savings and/or asset optimization. • Effectively communicate asset management strategies to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. If possible, standardize equipment for efficiency and cost reduction. Generate, distribute, and review relevant management reports. • Investigate and suggest best practices to resolve discrepancies and accuracy issues of the CMDB. Required Skills: • Demonstrable understanding of the ITIL Service Management framework across the entire service lifecycle. ITIL Foundation Certification preferred. • Ability to perform Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) by analyzing and interpreting trends in ITSM performance data and work with service providers to understand and improve their performance metrics. • A minimum of 5 years of related work experience, preferably in IT Asset Management Process Analyst / Process Improvement, ITIL Analyst, and Compliance role. • Strong familiarity and technical competence with asset management software and/or inventory-tracking systems. • Strong understanding of Information Technology operations and infrastructure processes. • Significant experience with robust documentation management systems.
