Review or create the scope of work for each item (scope of work that will govern the work to be done by cabling and or surveillance/access control vendors). • Ensures cabling is installed in accordance with CCSD LAN Cabling Guidelines. • Ensures cameras and access control devices are installed in accordance with CCSD Facility Security Regulations. • Coordinates scheduled work with cabling/security vendor and construction management. • Provides appropriate feedback to vendors, construction management and director. • Verifies all documentation and test results are received from vendors. • Monitors and reports progress to ensure work is completed on time. • Keeps CCSD staff aware of all schedules so technology systems and end of line equipment can be installed appropriately. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide feedback on project status and change management, communicate information to appropriate district staff and/or construction firms, travel between construction sites. Manage on site cabling and security vendors for successful completion of the cabling infrastructure, surveillance, access control, and public address systems. Inspect vendor work for quality and document/communicate discrepancies. REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): • GOOD COMMUNICATION - WRITTEN AND ORAL • ABILITY TO READ BLUEPRINTS • UNDERSTANDING OF LOW VOLTAGE CABLING STANDARDS • KNOWLEDGEABLE IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT WITH AT LEAST 4-6 YEARS INFRASTRUCTURE PM EXPERIENCE • DRAWING SOFTWARE AUTOCAD OR REVIT PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): • DRAWING SOFTWARE VISIO • USE OF EXCEL AND WORD REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: • RCDD REQUIRED • PMP PREFERRED   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
