Candidate will be responsible for managing the Security & Architecture Review Board, developing, documenting and implementing technical standards related to state-wide information technologies and Enterprise Technology Architecture. The ability to work independently and to work outside of the normal work hours, as needed, is required. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the Security & Architecture Review Board (SARB), internal teams consisting of Division of Technology and various state agency architects and engineers to obtain an in-depth understanding of the services offered and to develop/document technical standards to be followed during the implementation of those services. Emphasis shall be placed on enterprise technology from the standpoint of IT and business management; enterprise technology procurement and vendor posture; and enterprise technology usage from the customer / user consumption standpoint. REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): Project Management, Excellent written skills (English); Ability to communicate technically with both technical and non-technical and varying levels of management, Proven work experience in development, documentation, and implementation of technical standards; Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in both text and diagrams/flow charts; Ability to deliver high quality documentation with attention to detail. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience. max bill rate is set at $80hr due to budgetary restraints. 25% Remote work would consist of if the resource were to be "on-call".
