A)Initial round of phone interviews with in-person interview preferred before final selection Description : ------------------------------------------------------ Serve as a technical thought leader and SME for our public cloud ecosystem across the State of South Carolina and will plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy enhancements to our Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud and PaaS solutions and provides knowledge transfer to team members. Works directly with technical teams, customers, vendors, and executive leadership to determine Cloud requirements, analyze business impact, ROI, and sustainability. Ensures Cloud architecture meets the service delivery needs of the Division of Technology Operations. Ensures proper integration of state security standards for all Cloud systems. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: -Analyze existing DTO infrastructure, strategic challenges, services, customers, and skill sets to make informed decisions on DTO cloud infrastructure and strategy. - Works with DTO teams to implement an IT governance model that guides the expansion of DTOs Cloud architecture and services. Documents the architecture and socializes architectural standards and capabilities with key stakeholders. - Perform system administration, automation, and development tasks for the Cloud Management Platform (CMP). - Work with DTO and customer personnel to facilitate migrations to the DTO cloud infrastructure. - Maintain continuity of shared services offered across AWS and Azure. - Lead, train and develop internal DTO staff. REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): - Public Cloud infrastructure expertise: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Terraform. - Ability to integrate Cloud/ DevOps platforms with third party tools. - Experience with AWS Governance and Best Practices (IAM, Organizations, Networking Architectures, Cost Mgmt controls, etc.). - Experience of Azure Governance and Best Practices (RBAC, Azure AD, Networking Architectures, Cost Mgmt controls, etc.) - Advanced knowledge of automation tools, including configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) and infrastructure provisioning (AWS CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Terraform) - Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell / CLI).   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
