Job Description Consultant: IT TESTING TEAM, Test Cases, Test Scripts, TEST PLANS FOR IT SYSTEMS PROJECTS SYSTE

Description:

Responsible for managing one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide IT program(s) consisting of multiple projects. Develops the program strategy, supporting business case and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans. Ensures integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business. Communicates with IT leadership, business leadership and IT Business Consultants to communicate program strategy, direction and changes. Responsible for delivering all projects contained in the IT project portfolio on time, within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements. Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers. Partners with senior leadership of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools. This is a single or multiple incumbent(s) position that typically exists in a small to medium size enterprise with multiple project managers, project leaders and/or project support staff as direct reports.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
THE CFS PROJECT TEAM S RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING, THE CFS PROJECT IS PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES (DSS) AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING, IMPLEMENTING, MAINTAINING, AND OBTAINING FEDERAL CERTIFICATION OF A FEDERALLY-MANDATED CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM (CSES) THAT WILL PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT TO THE OPERATION OF SOUTH CAROLINAS CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT (CSE) PROGRAM AS WELL AS FOR COMPLETING THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FAMILY COURT CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (FCCMS) FOR THE 46 CLERKS OF COURT.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The client is seeking a Test Manager to be responsible for working with the State and software development contractor to plan and execute a successful user acceptance testing. The Test Manager is also responsible for monitoring and ensuring the proper execution of the development contractors test management plans and processes.

Scope of Work:
• Produce, while working with the State Project Team and System Development Contractor, and manage the detailed step by step test plans for acceptance testing. These plans encompass input data, testing conditions, and expected results.
• Monitor and report the execution of the System Development Contractors performance under the CFS Project contract as it relates to all testing phases. This involves working with System Development Contractors tools and appropriately extracting data to produce metrics and reports.
• Assisting with developing processes and plans for functional, system, integration, regression, performance/stress, and acceptance testing performed on the CFS Project and ensure that they are followed
• Work with Requirements Manager(s) to ensure product requirements are testable
• Work with Development Manager(s) to ensure that developed components are testable
• Clearly understand the testing deliverables needed for all phases of testing
• Working with System Development Contractor, the State Project Team and end users in establishing test cases and test scenarios in a manner that will ensure that all requirements are thoroughly tested
• Assist in the successful transition from acceptance testing to pilot. This will involve working with the State and the System Development Contractor in incident management and communication.

• Manage and report testing results by State and other user staff for acceptance test activities as described in applicable plans
